We All Know You Love To Spend Extra Money!

You get what you pay for of course, but where does your money really go when you sign up for your typical large-scale paid hosting service?

Affiliate Commission ($30)
PayPal Fees ($5.34)
Unused Or Oversold Resources (~80%)
Actual Hosting

What Happens To Your Hosting Fees? (~$60/yr)

First and foremost, it goes to pay an affiliate in most cases. Average affiliate payout is about $30, but in some cases can vary up to $150 or higher. This money goes straight into the wallet of the webmaster or online marketer who sent you to that web host. You can check for yourself the 'Affiliate' programs available with most large hosting providers.

Talk about service level guarantees, 99.9% of clients wont even go anywhere near their storage or bandwidth limit, if it isn't hidden by claiming 'unlimited'. Yet that 0.1% is always in a tricky spot. You can see below the nasty surprises that await them in many cases. Why do people pay month after month for resources they aren't using?

The diagram on the left is completely to-scale. If you check the affiliate programs of major hosts, you'll see that $30 is a very conservative number. The PayPal fees come straight off their website (2.9% plus 30 cents). For the resource usage, I'm borrowing from the old 80-20 rule. 20% of the clients use 80% of the resources. From my own experience, this is usually a lot less.

Pay-As-You-Go Sounds Complicated. Is It?

In short, it's even simpler. Each month your hosting is already paid for you, based on the available balance of your account. The only action required on your part is to top that up from time to time.

If you want to see how much you've saved, you can easily see that in your monthly statement. If you're worried about running low on funds, you can easily get an instant cost calculation through your account.

There are only three costs - storage cost, in pennies per Mb, bandwidth, usually 10 times cheaper, and account cost, which is a base to cover everything else. $20/yr is a good estimate for the average website. We also have a full cost calculator.

Note: This page below this line is incomplete. If you are interested in being a part of our pay-as-you-go system, the best idea is probably to add my Skype - 'azoundria'.

Scaling Is A Huge Challenge For Small Business. Is It Yours?

As a small business, you get new customers every day. You are good at what you do, and so it's no surprise that more and more people trust you over time. Yet there are only 24 hours in a day. What happens when those run out?

The last thing you want to be doing at boom time is dealing with nice pleasant surprises like '504 Bandwidth Exceeded' or 'This Account Has Been Suspended. Please Contact Our Billing/Abuse Department' or pages taking a full minute to load. Sorting out that expansion into a virtual private server, or even a larger scale multi-server option is not fun when your data is held hostage and your website is unusable.

This is a really important benefit of our service. Backups are automatically stored off site and separated from your control panel, and we don't hide them from you even with the worst kind of abuse. Suspensions are nearly always handled personally and clearly explained so your customers know what's happened and when you'll be back. As for bandwidth, our policy is generally an automatic upgrade, which you only pay for what you use.

These kinds of things are often not thought of, make a lot of sense, and yet nearly every host out there has generic, unhelpful, confusing, and often condemning suspension pages, and they are not well equipped to handle the growth of your website, simply because their purpose is to host as many clients as possible, and not to help each one grow and succeed. They are a business, and this is the best for their bottom line.

Our paid hosting service includes:

• Your website is hosted on a service with a strong reputation for uptime and server speed. We will demonstrate to you the historical track record of this server for the past 6 months, including every single downtime our third party monitoring has recorded.

• There is no obligation to add any advertising, nor spend any time aside from 30 seconds a month to make payment.

• Our plans are guaranteed below market value, since we don't believe in taking the same large profit margins as other major players, and we don't have any affiliates to pay, nor advertising budget to waste your precious dollars on.

• Our plans are completely flexible, and unlike the industry, you only pay for what you use.

• Paid hosting comes with automated daily offsite backups, coupled with a second weekly offsite backup as a failsafe for the first backup. In addition, the servers employ RAID technology to also keep your data safer, and our cPanel software allows you to take unlimited additional backups as necessary.

Our paid hosting is so new, we don't even have a sign-up for it yet. Just email us with the following details and we can send you a complete quote:

Can you briefly describe your project and goals for this project?

What is your estimated bandwidth and storage usage?

What are your uptime requirements? 99.5%, 99.9%, 99.99%?

Do you have current hosting? If so, with who and how much do you pay? (We'll let you know how much we can save you and what extra features you may benefit from through a switch.)
