Free hosting is a little like a campground. You have:

•The nice quiet folk who are content just to laze around a campfire,

•The athletics, out for their hike or mountain bike ride,

•The family who brings out their trailer and 'camps',

•And many, many others.

The point is, everyone's different. But they all find solitude in this place of natural wonder. They all get along with one another. They're enjoying the nice scenery and having a great time. That is, until:

A really loud group of teenagers comes to have a party, and keep everyone up past 3 AM!

The tourists decide to leave their trash all over the place, or dump toxins into the ground.

Someone leaves a fire unattended, and starts a minor forest fire.

Ouch! Of course we can kick those people out of our campsite who play loud music, or dump trash, or leave their fire unattended, but it's too late. They already woke us up, and messed up our beaches, and burned down our forest.

So our strategy is a bit different. You invite your friends, who you know are cool people and don't play loud music all night. They invite their friends, who they know wont dump trash all over. And eventually we have a huge network of happy people enjoying the campsite with no forest fires!
